Republican Files Criminal Complaint Urging DOJ to Investigate David Flippo’s Fraudulent Finances

In the latest iteration of David Flippo’s campaign troubles, a Northern Nevada Republican filed a criminal complaint urging the Department of Justice to investigate Flippo for his failure to file his personal financial disclosure while self-loaning an unexplained large sum of money.
On Wednesday, KOLO reported that the registered Republican Susan Fisher who “came out of the womb a Republican” filed the complaint asserting that “there is something that he doesn’t want us to know. He’s not being transparent.” After the segment aired, Flippo’s campaign called KOLO saying he had filed for an extension on his financial disclosure. Unsurprisingly, this appears to be another lie from the Flippo campaign, as no record of an extension exists.
On Friday, Campaign Legal Center filed a request for an investigation into Flippo for failing to file his personal financial disclosure or request an extension while self-loaning $1.6 million.
As polling shows the race in a dead heat, and this criminal complaint being covered on TV, conservative radio, and print, Flippo is desperately hiding information voters deserve to know.
